What is incomplete phimosis? What's the difference?

Phimosis is usually grouped into "types", where the difference is the degree of retraction you get, and consequently how much of the glans is exposed. I've never heard of it referred to as "incomplete" (but then, I'm not a physician), but I'd guess it's another way of classifying it along those same lines.

The good news is that milder cases are generally easier to correct, and less likely to require surgery (almost none of them do, but the modern medical industry is VERY into it; get a second opinion before you do anything irreversible!).

The term phimosis loosely describes the condition in which the foreskin cannot be drawn back (retracted) to uncover the glans (head) of the penis. Unfortunately, the term has been misused for over 100 years, and inappropriately used as an excuse for circumcision.

I believe "incomplete phimosis" refers to the severity of the individual case on a scale of 1-5, 1 being the least severe where the foreskin is tight but can retract to 5 where the foreskin is too tight to retract at all.
