I don't smoke weed or drink alcohol, I am apparently uncool / a loser, opinions?

^^^ That's almost laughable, I thought being cool is about being you and being you comfortably.

What are your thoughts?

I never drinked or did weed until I was 24ish and I just drinked a little and did not do weed. You can be cool without that stuff, if they don't accept you then leave them. Find other outlets for your energy, maybe religion, sports, a hobby or something else. You don't need someone to tell you that you need to do drugs to be cool. You can be cool by the way you think, your focus in life, the way you dress, how open minded you are, how nice you are, your swag or whatever else. Find cool friends who are into a certain passionate issue that you are into and throw yourself at it. Such as helping the poor get more food, saving girls who are being forced into prostitution, banning domestic abuse, or whatever it is you're interested in. Maybe you're into web designing, or figuring out how to play the piano or guitar by yourself. Whatever it is, just focus and try to find a group of friends who are into that and bond over that. Who really needs to bond over drugs only? That's silly, you can bond over almost anything else.

Being cool is self defining. I don't smoke weed or drink alcohol either and if people say I'm a loser cause of that I feel really sorry for them cause anyone with intelligence will know that something such as weed or alcohol doesn't make you cool if you use it. In fact I don't see anything cool about smoking weed. I don't need weed or alcohol to have a good time.

Yeah, there are a lot of weed smokers and heavy drinkers I know who are reaaaaal f***ing lameasses. Its not a safety net for cool. Although I do think drugs are cool, aha... Just not always their users, right?

I don't think the absence of indulgence is cool. But, it doesn't maaaake you uncool. It just doesn't make you cool either. Anyway, being cool isn't being yourself. Being cool is being a regular hip person. You could be yourself and still be a real square.
