I answered this question when I was a kid.. when I was planning on bullying all the kids in my grade before they could grow to realize they could “talk back” or gain confidence lol
I chose them over me.
And I do very much value respect, and know respect and fear don’t equate.
Respect comes through admiration, or a person's own knowledge, to treat others as they’d want to be treated, or given a basic human treatment.
I’d obviously prefer Respect. 🤜🤛
I would much rather be looked up to as a respected individual by my peers rather than implying a fear based emotion for others.
Intimidation and fear is different though… now I like to stay on the edge of respected and intimidated by. Keeps people on the edge, and keeps the genuinity rather close.
I rather work hard for my hard earned respect than showing others I can be weak.
I already know I am far from perfect that is nothing but a sign of being human even the sun have it's dark spots.
However feardom can also learn me something. I have conquered almost all of my fears by facing them head on more than once.
Fear is when you do something for someone of higher authority out of not wanting to be reprimanded or punished.
Respect is when you do something willingly for that person of higher authority, because they are a good person.
Go figure out, which one is better.

I've already earned respect on what it matters also from those that matter...
there's no reason to fear me, only those who have felt fear regarding me were those who crossed lines that they should never have, but other than that... no good reason to fear
I'm a kind person, and most people respect that...
I don't know, probably feared. People act always very nicely and politely as we start to know each other. After some time their attitude changes very often, they are provocative, start to challenge me. After confrontation they rather avoid me but act normally, like they should do from beginning. I don't think it's respect, because most people don't respect themselves thus they can't respect others.
Feared. Respected sounds nice but it feels like being a celebrity. They will smell the seat I sat in and will immediately defend/attack me if I was to do something extrodinary that could seem bad or good. It was none of your business... so rather be feared.
Feared for me means they'll fk off outta my way and it'll make my name true ;D
As machiavelli said, as it is ideal to be both loved and obeyed, it is realistically best to always err on the side of inspiring terror.
I'll side with feared.
I would rather be feared, though fear and respect have synonymous meaning.
People are more motivated by fear than they are by respect. Respect is something you give; fear is something you experience.
Respected. If people fear me, they seem to be less likely to be my comrades. I get little respect, and sometimes dislike the society. My stepfather said that kids fear me due to my hair and beard, and that’s totally a put-down.
B. I'm not the most intimidating person... I'm more nervous around people than anything. lol
You can be feared and not be respected or be respected and not be feared? I'd rather be respected.
Don't care. You figure out your own feelings.
They’re not mutually exclusive. Fear is a form of respect.
Respected, I find that fear will only motivate people to limited degree to ensure no negative consequences.
But if your respected you can get tons of volunteers in the right situation.
I don't want to be seen as a threat and someone to be afraid of. I'd rather people feel welcome and comfortable around me, people who truly respect won't do shit to you.
If you are feared, you are in risk of people targeting you meaning to say someone would kill you because they fear you for being a threat to them. Respect is a much safer option
Probably heard. In terms of career. Especially towards the end of YVCS, that’s when it Willa be the biggest deal. Speaking of Ends, what’s the difference between demons and fallen angels?
Neither, I'd rather be loved by some and ignored by the rest.
Neither. I’d rather just be treated neutrally, unbothered, and left alone.
Respected. Feared people might get shot by someone in terror for his/her life.
I want people to be afraid of how much they respect me
Fear causes discourse. Being repeated doesn't in a nutshell.
Respected , the problem with fear is when you are vulnerable then the people will no longer fear you and overthrow you.
Why choose? I want both.
Both are the same.
In my experience a mixture of both is best.
Feared.
Respected easily
feared because i am a god
Respected of course.
