My employer makes me stand and wait for my money infront of customers?

I’m finding this quite annoying. I dance every weekend in a restaurant. My employer often works on the bar and is busy. He always pays me after I perform , and I have to wait around until the bar area is empty until he finally pays me infront of the restaurant. Does this seem disrespectful to you guys?
