+1 yWalk away from a friendship, knowing that she needed me but I couldn't help her anymore, I had no strength left in me for her and now 6 years later it's still the best decision I ever made, even tho I still feel guilty but I would never change that decision

It was pretty hard but it was like you said, I couldn't safe us both... fun thing is we're living in the same street now haha but thankfully I didn't walk into her yet, I saw her twice but I did hide behind a car 😅
What was it for you? - +1 y
Switching careers can definitely also be really difficult and a life change too

Yeah shit and then it's not what you wanna do... but you know what, your time in college was surly still great and still educational, like it was sure not for nothing and at least I hope now you are now happy where you are

2.8K opinions shared on Other topic. When I was 26, I was offered a job with a small auto insurance company as a motor vehicle damage field adjust/appraiser trainee.
I cut my long hair and bought a suit for the interview. I had no idea what the job would entail and didn't even know what an insurance adjuster was. I didn't even have a college degree.
Cutting my hair changed my persona and lifestyle. That, in itself, was traumatic. But the job was really hard at first. I was absolutely buried and stressed for a few years until I finally got the job wired. After that, it was really cool. The salary and benefits were great. I wound up working there for 30 years.
That job introduced me to the real world and forced me to grow up. LOL20 Reply

@bigpauly and @letuswaltzforthedead ... if you haven't read "the mother tongue: English and how it got that way" by Bill Bryson, you really must read it. It's short, witty, and extremely eye opening.

@SnowedIn I'll read it and add to the list of "things I didn't know existed but now I need it"

+1 yGiving birth to our first child is pretty high up on that list :-). Totally worth it.

You guys are lucky in that respect :-). All three of our children were over 9 pounds, and for me, the first was the longest labor and most painful. I blame my husband for their size, because he is the taller one in our parental unit :-)

Some of my husbands cousins have had babies that were close to and slightly over 10 pounds. We were both in the 8 pound range. I stayed short and he is over 6 foot!

I don't know how those ladies handle those kids. I don't think any of them were C-sections either. I've got decent childbirthing hips, but I can't imagine a 10 pound exiting🥰

@Blackcupcake number two, and number three relock easier, under 12 hours of labor for each of them. Our first child I was in labor for over 24 hours.

The will have a mother is very strong :-). I was paranoid about being induced, and I'm stubborn enough to hold my ground. Glad I did :-)
