Puppy has hard lump between ribs?

Two month old puppy has hard bump between his ribs. I can’t push it in its kinda hard. Not sure what it could be?

soft lumps are usually just fat but would be weird on such a young puppy. hard lumps you should get checked, and a puppy should be checked out by a vet anyway

It loves side to side but not push in I didn’t push hard, and can’t take him to vet until later this month

There is an internationally know Vet school, even the farm animals people in Asia know them, at NCSU Raleigh NC. My sister graduated from there.

She said fatty lumps on ribs is a part of aging and normal. Hard lump cancerous.

Puppy is hard to tell with growth at an exponential rate... She is partnered in vet practice,

Thank you! It’s somewhat squishy now that he’s awake when he was sleeping I couldn’t push it in, I thought maybe hernia. It moves back and forth would that be fatty?
