What does it mean when your dog is getting swelling on one side of his face?

I had three dogs so my little boy I had to put down on Tuesday this week he was old could breath etc. now my big boy has swelling on one side of his mouth he’s not adding any differently I’M pretty sure it’s a swaps sting because we have a baby pool outside that if filled with regular water or water no chlorine but I think he might have accidentally licked up a wasp is acting normally other than the swelling in his face he goes in on the third for vaccinations I figured because he’s acting normally it’s not a big deal either then own. It’s been a rough week for my male dogs the female is fine beyond missing her little buddy it’s our first couple days without having her a little buddy around. Had to put down my little old man Tuesday so I’m considered about my dogs I love dogs more then human. My future wife is I ever get one has to accept my love of dogs

get to the VET! give it a childrens benadryl if you can't. spray for wasps and clean your pool regularly. figure out where the nest is and tear it down. make sure the dogs are inside so only you get stung in the face

It means you need to get a girlfriend. Otherwise we'll have to call the SPCA. You don"t wanna go on their registry.

How would getting a girlfriend help? Also I don’t date liberals or Christian’s or women with kids and I’m a republicans so a girlfriend isn’t likely going to happen

It might be an allergic reaction, could be a sore tooth, or something else. Vet trip is needed.

Fair he goes in next week for a vaccination he seems perfectly normal otherwise. He goes to the groomer Tuesday. I don’t know that’s too long it’s 3/4 days away. I started having today and rapidly came on I remember I got stung on the web last year and it swelled up like that and took a few days to settle down.

How much does he weigh? Get some Benadryl tablets. Break one into four equal parts give him one part. See if it reduces the swelling. My cat was vet-okayed to have that amount for occasional allergies, so it should be fine to see if it gives your dog comfort. Hopefully reduces swelling. Call your vet and confirm first, please.

yea we have a guy living on the property who keeps a kiddy pool full of water needless to say wasps get in it and he probably swallowed one. i ended up with a similar thing last year took a sip off a beer and got stung on the inner bottom lip worst sting im my life felt Close map had hives everywhere felt like i had had just chugged a 1/5 of captain Morgan rum took a couple days for the swelling to go down.
