Why do most questions on this site have to do with dating, relationships and looks?

and questions on other subjects don't get as much traffic? why do people on this site care so much about dating?

Because those are the topics where people, mainly the younger ones (14-40+) have the most issues with in life.

It is a reflection on what preoccupies people because, let's face it, society and the pressure from others to be sexy, to look good, to date as many as possible and to fornicate equally as much is what counts in our totally screwed up world.

I have been on this site to see how important those issues are in the Western world. I don't think that in Asia, the looks and the other topics play nearly as much importance as in the Western world. We are slaves of our hormones and are incapable to think for ourselves.

We are influenced by others to be exactly like them. Where would we go if we would think for ourselves?

Personally I find these topics rather boring.. There are much more interesting subjects in the world one could discuss from books, films, history, literature, photography, travel, to science, cooking, food, fashion... I've been on other forums as well, such as Quora and Reddit and they seem to include a wider variety of categories than Gag... I don't know if it's just my impression, but people here seem to be more shallow?

Some people rather ask on here because they don't have the support from their parents, are too shy too ask, or want to hear other opinions. Not everyone is happy being single so it's a good site to ask

There are a bunch of people who seem to just ask random questions daily and they don't seem to even read responses.

I'm not sure what their angle is, like maybe they work for GAG and try to keep it alive or are seeking experience points or something. It's very strange
