"Double text" is when you text somebody, they don't reply and you give up on waiting for a reply, and then you text them again.

  Okay thanks. I didn't recognize the word double text as being meaningful until you explained it. That being said, I think any sort of texting is basically a waste of time and something I don't want to really engage in unless it pertains to my work.
