Is it impressing/shocking for a black woman to give birth to 2 white babies with light eyes?

This was the case for a Nigerian woman. Even though she married a white man with recessive eye colors, her genes are the dominant ones. Yet she gave birth to two white babies. One has green eyes and the other one was bluish-gray eyes; both with the recessive genes.

Isn't this impressing/shocking? None of her 2 babies got her dark skin color nor her dominant brown eyes.

Skin color is polyallelic meaning it's not one gene from mother & one from the father.

Far more "impressive/shocking" are rare cases of a white woman and a white man giving birth to a 'genetically-correct' black child.

Yeah those cases are impressing too. If those two babies have recessive eye colors, I'm guessing it's likely the black mother must've carried that recessive gene somewhere. Otherwise if she's fully Nigerian (no white ancestry) and the father is white, those babies would've still have the dominant brown eye color, no way it would green or bluish.

Her husband is white with light eyes, the man's parents are likely whites too. Her parents are likely blacks. I'm assuming the mother had to have some white genes somewhere, otherwise the babies would've been darker.

True but since brown eyes are dominant over light yes, I always thought darker skin colors are dominant features too, dominant over light skin.

Yes, a black person can have blue eyes but it's a rare combination. It doesn't happen too much. That black lady has regular brown eyes though.

I dated any race. I don't care about race. I'm just pointing out logical facts about genetics. Dark eyes and dark skin colors are dominant genes. The child has more chances of getting darker skin and brown eye colors than white skin and light eye colors.

The lady is from Nigerian heritage so that would make it even harder to have white babies with light colors... that's why it can be quite shocking neither of the two babies look like their mother.
