My parents were visiting the house tonight and while I'm working in the basement office as she's in the kitchen and dad's up in the 2nd floor guest room I can hear her calling MY name.
She's not calling my name for me to do something, she's asking WHAT am I doing. And then I hear her shouting upstairs to dad asking am I upstairs with him. And I'm like what. I'm in the basement & I haven't been upstairs for a good hour because doing some work.
So I go upstairs to the kitchen where mum's & she asks if I was in the dining room. Again I hadn't been upstairs for an hour.
Apparently while she was washing dishes she happened to see "someone" walking past the doorway separating dining room from kitchen out of the corner of her eye and that's why she had been calling my name. She thought I'd gone past her and upstairs to see dad.
I'm the only other person in the house besides them.
Windows locked. Metal/wood doors locked & locked screen doors as well. Nobody else has keys - I changed the locks when moved in - except my brother (in another country).
.
Now it gets weirder.
Over the weekend was having a zoom video call with a friend and midway through they say "is someone behind you"?
I'm like WTF. I'm in the house alone. There's nobody else in the area where I am. I have been in the room for some time. I can see all the access points into the room.
I can't help regardless to do the instinctive thing and turn around to look, however, as expected there's nobody standing anywhere behind me or anywhere in the room for matter.

I have always been close to that veil. And I’ve always known when a loved one is going to pass; or at the very least experience something and then learn of the passing afterwards.
Every grandparent, uncle, or cousin that’s passed I’ve known before it happened. Even with close friends and their family. My grandmother when I was young; I saw her the night before sitting on my bed (she was comatose in the hospital) my grandfather I had this feeling of peace and a sudden craving for our favourite shared meal and I heard his voice saying the nickname he always called me. My moms cousin; he was a rather large and obese man and was attached to oxygen, he lost his mask and suffocated; I was getting in my car and heard a cough behind me (which seriously wigged me out) and then I immediately thought of him, contacted my mom to see if she’d spoken to him recently only to learn that she’d just hung up the phone with his brother and received the news of his passing. The only one I didn’t have a heads up for was my father; but I had told him it was okay and he didn’t have to wait for me; his of course hurt the most.
I think so, yes. I've had a run-in with a ghost, or at the very least a shade. My sister had just passed away, and I was clearing some stuff from her old apartment which is family property.
It was around 6PM so already dark, and first I heard a loud banging, then the TV (turned off) made a cracking sound. I got scared, closed up everything and literally ran for the hills.
A friend who knows about this stuff said I probably ran into a presence of my sister (not a ghost proper, I'm no expert but she told me ghosts take months or years to fully manifest) and to never go back there alone until we had cleared all her stuff, because even if the presence was not malicious she could still have hurt me and put bad luck on me.
I bought a house off a guy whos wife had died in the house and i was laying on the couch watching tv with all the lights off and the door on the refridgerator opened all the way and then closed... Also one time i was in the basement and I was only one in the house and the toilet flushed. I sold the house to a girl that was 35 and one day the found her dead in her bed and it was on the same day my mom died , the house my parents lived in was right next door.
I have more but I will leave it at that
