I used it as sand over ice one winter & as carpet cleaner & to absorb general spills & animal messes.

Makes good traction when stuck in the snow or stuck on ice. And it also works well for grabbing traction on ice for your walkway.

I know it makes really good sand for ice so some people here have a bag in their car. It also makes a good floor for the grill and lastly while there are many different types, I am talking about the classical variety and its basically just clay and with some added parts can make some nice pottery or art if you dont want to bother digging up your own clay or buying expensive stuff from the internet.

It's good to pick up spills like oil and antifreeze, great traction in the snow, and absorb odor in shoes and purses by putting it in a tied off sock, and placing it in there for a while.

If you live in the great white north having some in the car in a plastic container might help you if/when you get stuck, it can be used as oil dry if your car has a leak.
