How many cat litter boxes do you have if you have two cats living with you?

Former roommate had two cats, two boxes, one was always dirtier than the other. Great roommate, but so glad I don’t have to worry about that shit anymore.

We have three- although we're trying to trim that down. We bought a litter robot, but the cats are still adjusting to it so we've kept the other litter boxes for now.

I don't have cats but I think 2 is common for regular cleaning and maybe 4 if you want to be safe. 3 and they might fight since that is an odd number.
