Not at all, the only pets I have right now are fish, they might have one birthday, maybe 2, possibly none, it isn't like it would have any meaning regardless.
I do miss having a dog, but this lot, and my kids are too small for a medium-large one, small dogs are too hit or miss also.

Awwwww! Lovely question. When I have one, I'll definitely celebrate his/her birthday. I'll take them somewhere cool they'd liks to explore, givs them special treats, more cuddles and kisses and play little games. Basically make them feel special and loved. 🙃

  My cats birthday is on Friday this week, I’ve bought her some fancy feast purée treats, a couple new toys and I’ll be giving her some cooked blue cod for dinner 🫶🏻

Before my Yorkie was stolen, I used to celebrate his birthday. He'd get to go to the pet store with me and pick out a toy, get some yum yums, and I'd stop at taco bell and get him a Chalupa he loved so much. He loved the cheese and tomatoes.

Then I'd stop at Dairy Queen and get him a little ice cream cone, and he'd lick the ice cream off and eat the cone later. I miss my puppy ::Sighs::

Oh it's an event. There are two days of celebration leading up to it where they open one present an evening, we play with it the next day, then the day of they get a special cake made of their favorite food and there are streamers and balls and more presents. Afterwards we'll watch a nature show they like on the home theater or play with their favorite toys (their choice) until they fall asleep.
Do the same on Forever Home Day.
