So it's actually the second time they lost my file, but this time they lost it for good.
The first time, it was very convenient because my file was what was blocking me from changing my trial date, because in my file, it would specify to NOT change the trial (date, time, and everything else... but since they lost it at the perfect time (the time was me going to court to ask to change everything) I got what I wanted... and I did want them to find my file again because I wanted to go to my trial to clarify things with the other person but also because I believed in my innocence...
So I did, I had my trial and was found guilty... I asked to appeal it only to realize that the court lost everything... they searched it for a whole month... they went all around court to find it... but found nothing... it's gone. So the charges are being dropped as a consequence of that.. since I have a right to appeal, but court can't can't happen without evidence!
Also what's really weird, is that the judge who found me guilty aswell as the prosecutor got really sick and had to leave their job.. so they aren't in charge of my file anymore... my file that doesn't even exist anymore ! Lmao?
I asked my lawyer if they often lose files like that? He said that court said it was the first time ever...

I have never heard of such a thing. A piece of evidence, yes, but all evidence and the entire record of the trial? I cannot even conceive of how that could happen.
Yup my entire court file...
I wonder if I was meant to lose the appeal, so someone up there took care of it for me because I don't deserve it?
Nor the judge nor the prosecutor have any evidence! The also both left almost in same time on sick leaves, for the next few years...
My lawyer said he never seen a file like mine...
Everyone is gone, and my file isn't with the files, it's gone too...
Shit happens, case dismissed & they have no evidence against you.
