Yes and no, its a matter of perspective
Everyone has a sort of OCD and everything else
What makes it a mental ilness is not having it, its when you got it to a level that it gets in the way of your life
I mean if you see a book sideways or red in blue row, you may want/need to "fix" that
Where it differ is if you really really have to "fix" it, that basiclly if you seen it you can't continue life without fixing it, and all day you walk around out of focus thinking about it, laying in bed missing sleep becouse that book is in the wrong spot
That if you hear a siron of a bomb coming down you remain in the room becouse the picture is a little to the side, and you can't leave it
That is when its a mental ilness, so yes we all got it to "some extent" but it only really becomes and illness when its exstrem and not just normal
I will also put out there that its important to understand that
As some people tend to think they need help on something tiny when outers having it as a real illness are blocked from getting the help they need as the wolf crys, its hard to know when it is and when not, but its important to know we all got it, its how much you got it, that will really decide the help you may or may not need
And if you need it you should work to get it
I don't know. Does a transexual have mental illness? In my opinion yes. They are worshipping the created instead of the Creator. They applaud what the devil tells them they want, and not what God wants. If you side with Satan then you have to be bonkers.

So you have an imaginary daddy who lives in the sky? Oh ok. You certainly aren't mentally ill. LOL! :)
@supercutebutt Bite me weirdo!
@supercutebutt I donât believe in god either, but you shouldnât be disrespectful. No one has all the answers.
I have a severe panic disorder, a cute anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder, and major depression as a result of the anxiety. I can no longer work around other people. I end up having a panic attack, forget what I'm doing, and sometimes even black out, and wonder off somewhere.
The last job I had, a lady was screaming at for something, and I ended up walking out of the store and got lost down the road somewhere. It took me 6 hours to find my way back home.
Now that I have diabetes, my doctors are telling me mental illnesses can affect the condition, making it worse. I've been trying to find work away from people because doubt I qualify for disability. But yeah, my anxiety controls everything I do.
looking at what all is a mental illness, then yes. just look at the shear numbers of people with these fairly common ones: bipolar, ocd, adhd, autism (spectrum) and you have what i would guess is close to 70% of humans. we could then add in addictions which covers close to 50% on its own but does carry a lot of overlap with others.

Define "mental illness."
Why would you even think that you stupid idiot?
Wait, I didn't say that... it was someone else, someone inside me... GET out. GET OUT!
I make a lovely chocolate cake.
STOP TALKING YOU MORON WHO CARES WHAT KIND OF CAKE YOU MAKE!
Mental illness? Never heard of it.
(YES HE DID, HE'S LYING!)
SHUT UP!
I work in psychology so I already have a biased opinion.

No, the definition of mental illness is in analogy to illness of the body. You may have a stomach ache from time to time, but it's not necessarily an illness such as a stomach ulcer. Similarly, you may be sad or "feel depressed", but you do not have a depression.
There are gradations and the cut-off point can be open to debate, but it would not make sense to define "illness" so wide that everybody has it.
I'm on the spectrum for high functioning autism, however I'm the only one in my recent family who has it. I'm not crazy or over the top, I tend to just get fixed on a certain topic often. I suppose you could say it's an illness though. I'm thankful that I don't have any other underlying issues aside from it though.
I'm high functioning also! đ
It's not an illness, it's a disability. Like only having one leg.
Just as a practical matter this is not true. Some people are within the normal range on essentially every measurable psychological trait. This is because mental illnesses tend to be comorbid, so there is not a random sprinkling throughout the population but chunking.
I'll say so, that's how we have this worldwide thing, called societies and society. Lol 😂😆 so maybe we all have at least one trait of it... even if it's small or big, be it a little anxiety naturally or a phobia or even being isolated or being a social butterfly. 😜
I've yet to meet a normal person. Everyone is so mentally fucked up that the term mental illness is meaningless.
Possible your personality attract mentally fucked up persons? đ
No, mental illness is rare, it's just that the easily offended and the drug peddlers aren't willing to call people stupid anymore, because it effects their bottom lines in a way that they don't like. SO now "everything" is a "mental illness", even normal emotions or just being dumb.
I say no because they have done nothing but her a group of people together in a scheme to make money and divide the people even more and came up with labels. What they call mental illness is nothing more than you not being balanced spiritually speaking. You have more bodies than the physical one we deal with everyday. We have 4-5 more bodies that can effect our physical body.
I donât think so. Some people are actually mentally stable and get on with their lives despite whateverâs going on around them. Theyâre lucky. I donât think theyâre better though because some of us are biologically more susceptible to mental illnesses but we choose to fight on. It just sucks you know.

Yes. Thatâs correct, and you are exhibit A
I would like you to apologize to me. Your broken brain is causing you to lash out in insane ways. It's very inappropriate. :(
I think everyone has something going on bcâŚwell⌠weâre human fcking beings 😂 I have recently developed an anxiety disorder where my brain will literally be good alllll day and then all of a sudden I will start panicking. The disorder comes with really bad panic attacks and sometimes I canât do anything normally for days because Iâm constantly psyching myself out
More than likely yes , some just handle it better than others , Most people have past trauma from something that occurred in their life time usually causing depression, Some have it worse than others and everyoneâs brain works differently
Yes. However some mental problems are more socially acceptable than others. Of course the level of particular mental problem is important as well.
Absolutely not. But there are a lot of mentally ill people who have started political movements to get people like themselves declared off limits to all criticism.
Very few people have mental illness. What most people have is a mental instability that they call ilness so they can sit comfortably doing nothing about it.
Talking as someone who deals with "random" depression, anxiety and insomnia. None of them I call illnesses.
no, everyone has the ability to get a mental illness, but it doesn't mean you will. having a mental illness means it's debilitating on some level, so you need treatment for it
Do you mean mental illness or bad mental health?
Mental illness means people who have a hard grasp on reality and can be harmful to others aswell as themselves.
Bad mental health is a big severe struggle with anxiety and struggles mentally with every day life
No. We all have bacteria, but it doesn't always make us sick. Same goes for mental illness, if you get the metaphor
No, even those who have it are mostly made to believe that they're mentally ill to make profits out of 'therapy sessions' and 'medical treatments'.
Yes, some people are crazier than others.

If everyone is mentally ill then no one is mentally ill.
Yeah probably my brother has anger issues, dad fell down a conspiracy rabbit hole and mom's a bipolar narcissist so I'm probably off in some way too but nothing diagnosed yet
Yes, I know I do. I have OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder).
By modern standards of what constitutes illness, yeah, probably, if you want meds bad enough and keep trying they will diagnose you with something
I just keep it simple. No matter how crazy someone is, the wirld will always be crazier.
I wonder what the diagboses are who give diagnoses to patiance.
In the West, yes. Big Pharma is making a financial windfall destabilizing the population, bombarding them with pills around the clock.
I get the feeling there's no avoiding it just managing it, kind of like exercise, you stop and things stop working, mental health is a active skill, one can not simply just be
Yes, I've been mentally ill since age 21
Yes and no. No oneâs perfectly healthy because no oneâs perfect, but that doesnât necessarily mean itâs as strong as what weâd define as an illness.
yeah some people deal with them some and some want others to do it for them
No, but so many more people have mental illnesses than those who know
As long as theyâre living in a society, yes. We arenât meant to be controlled. We need to be free in the wild and survive naturally without politics and religion.
If we're going by what the constantly shifting standards are, yeah everyone is neurodivergent to some extent.
I'm on the spectrum for high functioning autism. I also has asperger's syndrome.
No, otherwise it wouldn't be considered a. "illness".
I do and every person I've met i feel like they have a thing or two
then it would not be real illness
Probably to some extent.
nope, not really
17 year olds lack the life experience to join on this conversation. Sorry kid
As am I. Mental illness doesnât mean bat shit crazy. Anxiety and depression are mental illnesses. They are a lot more common than you might think.
