İ didn't go to her and his funeral when I was growing up with my grandparents, am I a bad person?

nah funerals aren't a good place to go and i wouldn't want anyone to come to my funeral, there's a saying i go by, "dont come to me when im dead, come to me when im alive"

I did not go either one of my mothers parents funerals cause we were in another continent thousands of miles away. I was in high school when my grandpa died and had homework so could not fly to China for the funeral and I was a university student when my grandma died so my parents did not even tell me she died when my mom and aunt flew to China for the funeral. I learned she died years later.

No, that does not make you a bad person. But you still should have attended their funerals.
