Why is it currently 81% humidity?

I understand the UK is surrounded by the sea, but we have not had rain in over a week now! It shouldn't be this humid.

It's nearly 4 am. I'm exhausted and thirsty, and I can't sleep. Why is it like this? We are melting in the summer and then freezing in the winter. Our houses weren't built for heat. It was built to keep the heat in!
