It's possible but there's no promises you'll succeed considering the fact that the law is highly more advanced now so you can try but police will probably mow you down and if not the police then the military, there's literally Somalian pirate hunters and they are part of the navy military, there's videos on YouTube of them mowing these pirates with high caliber weaponry 😂

Yes, but there re no eye patches or parrots involved. They use small speedboats and shoulder fired weapons. It is not without hazards because a lot of ships that travel those waters will fight back.
