Depends on the disease. I have a chronic health condition that is incurable, but not untreatable. It does effect every aspect of my life, but I find ways to function. I wouldn’t want to be frozen until a cure is found. It’s not worth losing friends, family, pets.. etc.
Depends on how close they are to finding a cure. Is there active research being done? Or is it newly discovered with not enough cases to form a study or eventual trial. Assuming it’s rare and there’s no research done I would choose MAID, and donate my body to science so they can study it and hopefully make some headway on the cure
I think there's too much water in our cells and it will rupture the cell walls when it freezes. There's some frogs that can survive freezing because their cells fill with glucose and it acts like antifreeze. Maybe they can figure something out like that.
Michael was going to do just that! He said he was going to 'live forever". I really liked the man, and his work, but we all know how that ended.
I would opt for that but we don't know what would happen to us when 'frozen"
A real unknown, Coach.

I do want to live but being frozen is not living. Plus by time they thaw me out, what if all my good years are gone? If the freezing will stop me from aging externally and internally then yes. Otherwise no
like in video passengers 2016.
I'd be fine until one of my buddies gets the hair-brained idea to bring me to their party and starts chipping away at my block for drinks on the rocks.🥶
No, even if they do find a cure. No guarantees that they will unfreeze you. Further, depending on how long it takes you may be looking at a whole new language, culture, social rules, etc.
good reference to series buck rogers. i loved that!
I think it'll be disturbingly stressful to wake up a total stranger in a different period that still doesn't have a cure for me.
No. There is no cure for depression except death.

Hell no! I would want to be frozen and wake up to a messed world. It's not worth it.
No for two reasons;
1. If I still didn’t have a partner knowing that I’d be happy to admit defeat and get off this cursed rock. I’ll donate my body to the study of the disease if that might help.
2. If I did have a partner I’d rather she move on and find someone else than suffer waiting for me for God knows how long.
So you wake up and you're cured. But, all your Familly and friends have passed on and the world isn't necessarily a better place in the future.
Not such a great deal, Better luck next life.
@coachTanthony Only if You Paying. lol!!! xxoo
Much better to download your consciousness then transfer it to a doner at a later date.
@purplepoppy. "Donor"? I doubt people would stand in line for that job.
i have lupus- there is no cure
no, let nature take its course.
@ShesRad80
They just found that the chemotherapy treatment they use for cancer, cures Lupus. We just reason about on the internet recently. Perhaps you can look it up. 🌹
@sage2021
i have no worries, is what it is- there is no timestamp on how long i can last or not last.
i work in healthcare, chemotherapy can make my already iffy kidneys and bladder worse then they are. chemo suppresses the immune system it doesn't cure it. i been down that road. since my lupus is affecting major organs it is a no go. and it can help manage it but you have to be willing to trade the side effects and the risk outweighs the reward in my case. but i do appreciate your comment, thank you ✌💕💕
First, I would try MMS, IF I could EVER find any!!
@FunkyMonkee
I looked up that MMS stuff, and it's bad. Look it up before you take it. Miracle Mineral Supplement.
Nah. Let me die. You just said an incurable disease meaning, I could be frozen for a zillion years to which my body and brain probably won’t work the same.
I play hockey its in winter its darn cold so not so sure i would want to be frozen in time lol besides I like to talk and the new generation like to text were does that leave me in 100 years from now lol
Hell yeh! compound interest on my savings!!!
but interest 1% less than inflation especially if dnc continues its overspending.
Hell yes. There is no downside; worst case you end up dead which is the same as if you don't do it.
As long as my body doesn't change, as if it's stopped in time, I would be okay with it. As long as they don't forget about me :(
Carbonite my ass, coach!
🤣🤣🤣
Sure. Why not?
Having said that, I feel like I must be missing a downside to this.
God sent a disease to test man. I can't challenge God. If I was to get a cure it would be in my natural lifespan. I do wish I had cure for hypertension and other stuff for my parents though
