Mine had jump rope for heart, which you paid to participate and then you jumped rope to gather points and then with those points, you buy stupid items like a jump rope or a toy.
They also had scholastics, a bunch of magazines and toyish type of books and items that at the time were eye catching to children, I remember being too broke to get anything and I watch other kids play with their shit and I was like "I want that shit" when I did have enough I'd buy my mom something, everything was so overpriced tho lmao
Lunch itself was a scam, based on where you lived you had to pay a certain amount of money for lunch, which some kids were stuck paying 2 dollars daily for lunch and yes they don't give your child the food if you don't pay, they let your children starve, I remember I had to rely on selling hall passes I stole from classrooms with the homies and selling drugs cause i didn't wanna take my parents money, which at that point I just went to eat at burger king in the hood nearby,
And last but the best scam is selling chocolates, you pay like 150 dollars to the school for chocolates, you gotta sell them and get the 150 back by selling them and then you give that to the school too for a stupid prize like a toy and shit, I remember either eating the chocolates cause I paid for that shit or sold it and kept the money, damn pricks would rip off children and people still think schools are about the kids 😂
