Once again, G@Gers have come up with a plethora of legitimate, well-reasoned answers...

The answer we're looking for is Brazil. All the others use the Dollar as their official currency while Brazil uses the Real.

Each country has its own dollar currency, except for Ecuador, which uses the US dollar as its official currency.

I'm going to go with Hong Kong. Rationale: it's not a country of its own, but rather it is a city/district that is administrated by China. All of the others are countries.

Secondary rationale would be I believe all the others listed have some form of republic as their government, but I'm not 100% sure about that.

Hong Kong is the only one that does not have the letter 'a' in it. Also, Hong Kong is a city, and a part of China, now that the British packed their bags and left the city back to China.

I am going to go with Singapore because it is the only one that is a city-state.

Hong is technically a city-state too, although China calls it a Special Administration Region (SAR). Good thinking though.

Hong Kong is not a city-state though since it is a part of China.
It has no foreign policy.
It has no distinct currency, etc.
Singapore does.
