Every way to cool off the house that I can find involves removing humidity, but I don't want to do that, it makes the air too dry and thats just as bad as being too hot.
There are damp, cool environments in nature, I want to replicate that indoors, how do I do this?

I'm aware humidifiers that pump out cold vapor exist, but air conditioners by definition work by dehumidifying the air, so getting a humidifier and an AC is not a workable solution, because the humidifer will stop the AC from being effective at cooling the air (unless the AC successfully undoes the humidity that the humidifier is putting into the air, making the humidifier useless)..

Move to San Francisco. Open the windows.
Fuck no, california is way too hot, I need my 60f with high humidity.
Not SF. Quote from Mark Twain: "The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco". A few years ago I drove there; coming through Sacramento it was 110. I got to my friends' place in SF and it was 55 degrees.
Hmmm... interesting, but it doesn't help me cool off the inside of my apartment.
AC and humidifier.
