One at a time: teleportation machines don't even work in theory; we HAVE cloning, it's just the natural way, so we call them "twins" rather than "clones" (okay, there's also the artificial kind, but for some reason nobody can figure out, their lungs tend to be underdeveloped and they don't live long); robot animals we can also do, but there's not really a market for them, and the novelty quickly wears off; Wonka vision is just fancy teleportation, and flying cars- look, we COULD do that, but they'd be clunky, they'd be expensive, you'd still need a pilot's license almost everywhere, and would you really want a flying machine that breaks down as often as cars do?
Chocolate fountains, however, are widely available:
We also have high speed trains, rocket ships, etc...

Oh 😥 Florida dear dear Floridians
A lot of cool stuff happens for real in Florida... Open your eyes and look around some time... For example we also make cool submarines.

Apparently Lilium had issues with the FAA for the Lake Nona location, so they changed to the Orlando International Airport (MCO) which is roughly a 10 minute drive by car away... It's easier to get in the door at an established airport than start a new one... Either way the plans move forward and manufacturing is underway for operations to start in the near future...

Well, he never talked about it and I used to watch Jay
Leno every time he was the best of all the talkshow host and I don’t even watch Jimmy Fallon. He’s a knock off from Saturday Night Live which was a funny show, but I don’t really like it anymore because there’s nobody out there and I never did find Jimmy Fallon to be funny he’s a disappointment as a talkshow host cheap comedy
The pilots all agreed it would be a bad idea.

I remember when I was a child, watching "The Jetsons", and I asked my mom when "the future" would be, when we would have all of that stuff... LOL She didn't know quite what to say.
It is jut a matter of time.

They do exist, the problem is that a crash on a motorway or road is usually between a small number of cars. With flying cars, there is a high probability it would be over a residential area, imagine a flying car crashing into another flying car and both falling into a school,
That would be a really real even if everyone had one. But not everyone could afford one.
@Daniela1982 a Switchblade costs £135,000, that’s about the price of an M5
There are a hell of a lot of cars over £135k on the roads
You have seen people drive on the ground haven't you?
Do you really want them flying around not paying attention.
🤣😂😅🤔 yeah you have a point
It’s not a feasible or in demand item. there's drones and we had a hell of time learning how to regulate that. Imagine if the sky was like a lake with free roaming boats.
We’d need sky lanes. Sky police. Etc.
Very true, but a lot of people are regularly getting their license pilot license so I don’t think it’ll be that hard
The cars: They are still parking in the hangars.
Together with the sailboat-submarines.
I have a suspicion that George Jetson actually wasn't real :)
im purposely hiding them all from humanity. pay a zillion dollars and you can have them muahahhaa

I'm still waiting for the flying taxi... getting rid of the traffic jams would be nice!

@dustybiker2 There might be a slight problem 🤔 .. Know anyone who can teach us how to fly them ?
Eh, we'll figure it out along the way.
Maybe bb8 is looking for some adventure and could fill us in on the deets
@dustybiker2 Maybe, but I've got my learner plates ready.. just in case! Ya know.. I had a thought.. If a Wookie can fly the thing.. how hard can it be?

@dustybiker2 Hahahahaha
They exist!
Where do you put the kids and the groceries? Thing is you have to have a runway or empty road for landing somewhere. You won't be flying it to Walmart. 😎
Christianity, colonialism and capitalism got in the way.
Actually helicoper is kinda like it. Imagine everyone flew flying cars. They will surely bump into each other lol
they will be around in a few hundred years when we're all flying around in flying saucers. They know how they work just not how to replicate them. They will be mainstream one day.
As an Italian nationalist, I must say that the USA can never invent a flying car.
It is funny how those commutes are still in cars.
The FAA hasn’t approved them yet.
I know they should’ve been out by now
The Jetsons have them.
The new tesla truck looks like it will fly
People can't even handle driving on a road.
Flying cars? Do you mean small aeroplanes?
