What do you think of France's SCRATCH 'N SNIFF stamp?

The French Post Office has released a Scratch N Sniff stamp, that has a bakery scent, to celebrate the baguette, a unique French bread..

What do you think? Is this just for collectors, or will it increase mail (poste) usage?

I cannot imagine if America 🇺🇸 came out with a scratch-n-sniff what it would look or smell like.🤷🏼‍♀️

As a Philatelic myself, I think it's a brlillant idea not only for collectors but everyday people. I would buy a lot of them and keep them for myself.
In 2016 (I think) America 🇺🇸 made some stamps that had a banana split with all the trimmings (it was a big stamp), a chocolate sundae in a fancy glass ice cream dish, an ice cream cone with pink or green ice cream, and another one but I can't remember what. They could have made them scratch -n-sniff that smelled like delicious ice cream. I saved a mint condition package of these stamps and still have them.

It would be fun if we did the same around Christmas since that's the only time most people buy stamps.

Wonder why they never did a garlic stamp.

That is a very unique and clever idea. I'm intrigued. I think it's interesting that the French come up with things like that which are both artistic and creative. The US in contrast comes up with better better bombs and better ways to steal money from people.

I think it’s a wonderful idea & if the post office wants to really drive up sales they should have their next Scratch N Sniff stamp smell like cocaine.
