Why do we keep hearing about scientific advancement but we never see it in real world?

I keep hearing about bionic eyes, teeth regrowth and genetic researches that will lead to longer life and cancer cure. But when i ask about these treatment they are never available. Is it all talk? Is it real or fake?

For one:
Headlines in magazines are usually exegerated. The slow down of cancer growths being slowed down in petri dish in a lab, gets blown out to "cancer can soon be cured" even though there are still rigerous tests and research to be done and this approach may never work in a living human being.

Second:
Some people like to spread fake news, getting your hopes up to sell you some weird stuff that doesn't help at all.

third:
Advanvement happens in small steps, Treatment of symptoms - slow down of the illness - stop the growth of the illneas - treat it partially - cure it...

So its not "cancer is 100% lethal" to "100% cancer cured" over night. Its small steps, like the mRNA vaccine which is a small step forward from the previous vaccinea which was a small improvement to the vaccines before...

Many of these research has been up there since many years. this one i showed is one example of many. Also this study of regrowing teeth has been mentioned in some articles back in 2002s. Some were since 2004 or 2010 and still the advancement isn't there

My man, the FDA has to make sure this stuff is safe first. They’re all in the preliminary testing stage. Even a new flu shot takes multiple years to conceive and even longer to test and ensure its safety for humans.
