I'm not afraid of snakes or spiders. I've held many spiders in my hands when tossing them outside (I don't want to kill them).

But I am fearful of poison/venom. If something can bite me and end my life, that scares the shit out of me. So if it's like a brown recluse or black widow... yeah I'm scared.

Not on my job, I have to identify them so picking them up and putting them in a jar is a must. We only have one poisonous species in Ontario, Northern Black Widow. Fisher or Dock spiders have a decent bite, comparable to a hornet or bee sting. The rest are pretty cute little guys.

No, I'm okay with spiders or tarantulas. I especially love jumping spiders. They are so cute.

That's one of my few fears. But to be fair I held a tarantula at work. Now, I let a little spider bud roam freely in my room. Before the tarantula holding, I would have let him out outside.

No. They are fascinating creatures. They just belong outside (except daddy long legs, they might be messy but they catch pests, stay in sight, and so earn their keep)

no, but i admit those pictures are creepy. when i see bug, if it hurts people like spread germs roach or fly or biter spider i try to crush it. ants i try to ignore unless they trespass!

Yes, I get startled every time I see one. Especially a grotesque specimen such as the one you’ve sneak-attacked me with here. Whenever I see one on the thumbnail of a video on YouTube, I quickly scroll back up and refresh the feed

No, must logic. Bigger they are less they can hurt you. Large tarantulas can’t even penetrate your skin. Small arachnids are the poisonous ones.
