Has anyone been stung multiple times by bees/hornet's/wasps?

Two days ago, I was taking a walk in the woods and started moving some tree trunks I had cut to make a seat. I am out of shape and got tired! As I was moving them, I was instantly swarmed by yellow jackets and being stung repeatedly! I happened to have a Dr appointment today (unrelated to the stings), they counted 22 stings. I never had a horrible reaction, just a little localized swelling. Have any of you experienced a similar vicious attack?

Look at an Opiner that disrupted my post! He is proof that society is raising a group of children that constantly play the "victim". He came on MY question, with one intention, to harass me for no apparent reason, then, he suddenly sees himself as the victim! Says he's gonna get me "banned" 🙄 Childish!

yeah. once i tried to fetch a beach volleyball cause someone hit it way too far in the wrong direction. stepped in a bees nest and got stung a lot. I don't know how much but it was mostly in my legs. sucked for a few days. felt like bad bruises but i was good after that.

I had a lot of itching. It's strange, because most of the stings were on my stomach and some on my back, which means they actually got under my shirt.

i think they can also sting through the clothes, granted your clothes have direct skin contact at that point. and yeah they were itchy sort of like a mosquito bite too on top of the pain. i remember that.

Lol... yeah, I guess it didn't even dawn on me that they were stinking through my shirt. Makes sense, because I was actually brushing them off my clothes with my hands as I ran like hell!

yeah hornets or wasps are just the assholes of nature. they don't just sting if they're in danger. i remember when i was a child, a wasp landed on my hand. my mom said "just stay still and leave it. no harsh movements. she won't sting you". guess what. that bitch stung me anway. so since then i just smack every wasp or hornet i ever see indiscriminately. you know the move? smack them to the ground from mid air and then step on these motherfuckers to make sure they're not stinging anyone.

🤣🤣 They definitely don't care if they die! I ran over a hundred yards and then fuckers were still attacking me! There was a pile of them next to me that I was smacking off of me and stomping on. Aggressive as fuck!

I'm starting to think you're trying to kill yourself but you can't even do that right! I've never been stung multiple times but my dad was when I was a kid. He was cutting a field we had and must have hit a nest of ground hornet's. He ended up going to the hospital because he got really sick overnight. Bad fever, some swelling and a really bad sore throat. He had a major infection from the stings. They said he was stung well over twenty times.

What else can happen to you? 🤣 I'm glad you're okay. I have been stung a few times throughout my life but never multiple times. You should have gone to a clinic right away! You can get a bad infection from multiple stings.

I did go to a scheduled appointment today and they did say I should have gone in. The doctor said their stingers are filthy from hanging out in dumpsters and garbage dumps. They normally give you a prescription of antibiotics just in case.

Yep, uncovered a wasp nest working on a roof and got swarmed. Not fun

I remember working summers for a roofing company. They would also do fascia and soffit. Every time they would have to replace boards, it seemed like there would be a nest. Not only is it a ball busting job, you have to worry about being swarmed by stinking insects when you're two stories up on a ladder or on a roof!

I usually do also but this attack came out of nowhere. It's funny, because it took me a few seconds to actually realize I was being stung.

Yellow jackets are the worst for that. Yes they’ve gone after me in a similar manner.

I'm not familiar with them and have never run across them before but they are vicious! Now I'm afraid to even walk in the woods.
