For one day to become parents: What do you think your future children reaction would be if you showed your children you grew up on in the time period you grew up in?

For my kids they love playing video games that I use to play as a kid. Some of the older gtas and mario games. It's pretty fun getting to play those games again with them. They aren't big into watching TV tho

My boy is too young to even know what the TV is lol, but I’m looking forward to showing him my childhood shows. Better than a lot of the overstimulating brain-rot kids shows that are around now.

I don’t even think they put effort, creativity, and originality in tv shows for kids today. We had that when we were kids and wasn’t all re runs and shit like shows they have now

I don't know. Maybe some day, I'll get to find out.
I know I liked a lot of the stuff my parents said they used to watch. But, I'm very open-minded. Kids today seem to have this mentality where, if it's not up to the second modern, they aren't the least bit interested.
I just showed a kid in his 30's (the same age my daughter would've been had we been able to keep the baby) the first episode of, "The Prisoner" and he said he scanned through the first 3:00, got bored and complained about how awful t. v. was in my day! In the meantime, that was an AMAZING ground-breaking show, for its time and people today, that have been studying it SINCE it was first aired, are STILL trying to figure it out!! This is NOT a show you can just skip through and decide if you like it, or not! You practically HAVE to watch every single frame!
I started watching it again after he said that (I've already seen it about 20 times and will watch the whole series again soon) and, the first 3:00 is just the opening theme! Although I had NO intention of watching it past the first 3 or 4 minutes, I couldn't help sticking with it for the first 9;00, or so!!

I have teens. My daughter is 16. She loves my music and wears my old clothes. She says I’m uncool then basically is my 22 years ago but cooler because she has me as a role model and influencer
