If you were given the opportunity to live without a smartphone or social media and interact only with people in real life, would you agree to it?

I lived without a cellphone for most of my life. I could easily adapt to living again without a cell phone.

It'd be impossible without a smartphone, TBH. But I could do without social media, that's for sure. Yes, as a young adult I didn't have a cell phone, but that was a different world that has changed considerably.

I use my cell phone for verification on multiple essential digital accounts so it would be hard to live without one.

I never can. This is very difficult for me. Life without internet is not possible in this age.

i'm not on social media, however i do need the utility of a mobile pocket computer. It's pretty convenient.

I "lived" without a smartphone until in 2017. "Lived" not primarily because i didn't have one but because i was starving.

Meh. I'd be fine without it. I do like coming onto forums and finding people with similar interests. In real life it's harder to find folks with similar interests so the conversations seem less... serious.

My grandparents didn't have any of these. I don't know how they got around without a phone at least.
