This woman in a Firebird was trying to sneak up on my right side while I was making a right hand turn. I think she hit me on purpose because when we were both pulled over I was making sure all the kids were okay while she was trying to flag down passing cars trying to find somebody to be a witness. It was raining pretty hard out and after about 15 minutes goes by her boyfriend shows up in a Jeep. This was before there were cell phones so I wondered how the boyfriend knew where she was.
A few months later I get a letter in the mail that this woman was going to take me to court. I called my insurance company and they settled it. I wanted to go to court but the insurance company said it would coat too much to fight it in court.

It went off and hit me on the back of the head like a baseball bat. I fell unconscious on the wheel for a few seconds

You're welcome!! Indeed. I am pretty sure it's wasn't a fun day for the other person who caused the accident.

u 1 yI have been in at least three relatively minor accidents. I was not injured in any of them, but my girlfriend (now ex) hit the windshield in one of the incidents.

1 yIn my many years of driving, I've had 4 road accidents, none of them my fault, and no one was injured in any of them.
The most interesting one was this one... you can't make this up, it's true...
A pregnant 16yo driving on a learners permit without a licensed driver in the car (only her 16yo girl friend), ran a red light and hit me. Next to the accident site was a Krispy Kreme donut store where a policeman was eating donuts in his patrol car. I walked over and told him about the accident. At first, he told me he wasn't interested unless someone was injured. When he heard about the unlicensed pregnant 16yo, he quickly finished his donut and came to check on things and fill out an accident report.

1 yOnly accident I've ever been in was with a parked truck that hit me... Context? I stood too close to a trailer as the doors were being swung open. It was a tad windy and the wind caught the door. Gave me a very decent wack to the back of the head. It did not feel great

I'm sorry about your accident but glad you're still alive to tell the tale!!
2.7K opinions shared on Other topic. Oh yeah. I drove about 50,000 miles per year on my job for almost 30 years in a regular car. That's well over a million miles. Lots of city and highway driving.
I was involved in several accidents. A couple were my fault, but most were not. There were never any injuries aside from one time when I got rear ended at a stop light and hurt my neck.10 Reply1.5K opinions shared on Other topic. fortunately not yet.
Now while working we responded to countless MVAs every year, some minor, some fatalities.
This time of year, and more into fall it is the rut season for deer and we continue to get more and more car/truck vs deer accidents.
Those things can annihilate a vehicle, and they don't fare all that well either.10 Reply- 1.5K opinions shared on Other topic.
1 yTechnically yes. I was backed into twice by another motorist in reverse. Another time I hydroplaned into a telephone pole with almost no damage.
As far as the insurance company knows I've never had an accident in 34 years yet somehow I'm paying about 4x what I started with. Y'all better start driving better and stop tracking my premiums up with your carelessness!!10 Reply - 633 opinions shared on Other topic.
1 yTechnically, in 1984 when the bus on which I was a passenger was sideswiped by a car.(If you ever came here to Windsor, Ont., and saw the HORRIBLE drivers, you'd wonder why the streets aren't littered with corpses from traffic accidents !!!)

Hahah thank you. Oddly these situations keep replaying in my mind all the time. Scary stuff

I can understand why that is. It definitely sounds scary.
Yeah 4-5 times. My cars got wrecked but we're repairable. Other minor accidents were not that issue.

I am happy to hear that you are alive after all those accidents.

Yeah, me too.
First time was a donkey that jumped in front of my car in 2019.
Then in same month a driver at the front of the other car made a very hard brake and the front car got sandwiched and I got hit by a cycle in the rear bumper.
Then, in my new car in 2021 I got a man on a motorcycle fall on my right most side bumper. Luckily he survived but my car broke lol. I am glad the man was alive as people said he might be dead and I got water out and helped him get back up.
And then on my 3rd someone parked a stupid Loader rickshaw on the highway on the fast lane 🙄. Luckily my car's bumper was only damaged on the side collision and car didn't overturn. - 1 y
You haven't been very lucky. I'm sorry about that.

10 Reply 1.9K opinions shared on Other topic. Yes, twice. Once I was rear ended. And another time I got side swiped. Both times I was able to drive away; but the other guy wasn't. It was also in the same car.
