As an Indian woman I can extend that statement to 90% of the people. Life was peaceful before 2017 because I wasn’t exposed to the hostility against Indian women before that. I didn’t know it was this bad. Even several African American and Latino guys have been extremely racist so I think people want a punching bag. They made Indian women that punching bag. Very few oppose the oppression like me. Very few are interacting with people outside India. Many just ignore it because, unlike me, they’re not even attracted to white boys.

I visited NYC in 2008. I went to all the tourist places and saw a Yankees game. I probably had low expectations but I thought the people were helpful and friendly
