Girls, at what age did you notice guys starting to cat call you?

still shocking to me as a guy just how young it starts for women.

Personally I was 12. At that age my family went to Las Vegas on our way to California and 18 was the age allowed to enter casinos. I wore platform shoes pink hot pants and a silk blouse and was with my parents. Upon entering we were approached by a man who informed my Dad that 18 was minimum age to enter casino and told him my brother 3 years older than me could not be in there. Never said a word about me. Lol when I was 14 there was a take your kid to work day at my father's office. So I wore a mini skirt and matching sleeveless vest with white go go boots. Around noon my dad went to pick up lunch. While he was gone a man came in introduced himself and told me of a new resort opening and would I accompany him there to be part of a photoshoot for promotional purposes. Said it would be for a week all expenses paid to bring a bathing suit for pics on the beach and by the pool. Just as he ended by asking if I would come my dad walked in. I looked at my dad who was eyeing us both curiously and told the man it all sounded so nice but I wasn't sure if I could accompany him. When he asked why I told him he would have ask my dad who was a high ranking Army NCO. He was so embarrassed and apologetic as he explained himself. Too funny! Mind you this was in the 70s and honestly I was built like a brick s**t house!!

Cat calling only really happens in a girls middle school/high school years. These creeper men know they can take advantage of a young girl and that a grown woman would not put up with it. That being said I only have ever been cat called a handful of times in my life. Maybe the first time at 12

it definitely happens the most at 12 - 16 or at least until we look old enough to speak back

but it's not the only period it happens like it really depends on where you live, go, and work

Not really common where I live. Yes, we do have a city but not a big one and not one that a lot of people walk around, including me.

I grew up in a nice area that other than the neighborhood, is too spread out to have to deal with that stuff. Lucky, I guess.

yeah i imagine it wouldn't happen in smaller towns or rural areas... but yeah try walking wearing normal clothing in a big city... pretty much guaranteed to happen.

Not that common to happen to me since I tend to not dress up. It seemed that when I bleached my hair at 19 people started honking and cat calling but it only happened maybe 8 times that year and I always liked it and thought it was funny. It was always by young guys around my age in trucks lol.

I was about 17. I was standing at a bus stop when this work van drove past me and the driver beeped his horn and shouted something at me out the window. I was wearing a short skirt because of the weather but that shouldn’t matter.
Another time when I wore a short skirt I was accused of being on drugs because I looked so slim. Why are males like this?

I'm always having my head in the clouds so I probably wouldn't know it's me if they did. LOL But I know sometimes guys in middle school whistled like that just to do it. Not at anyone though, just to make the noise. I remember in high school I saw guys do it to other guys though, not because they were gay but just as a way of complimenting them.

Never really. I was never pretty like that. Though I did when I'd go walking after work have dudes in cars sorta cat call. I'd yell out I was a kid so they'd leave me alone
