Am I being a pussy for not going on the roof while its raining?

My brother and I bought a mobile home in 2017. My brother just moved and and my aunt and I moved in. My brother had a metal roof put on because it was leaking. Well, now there is rain water going down the side of the chimney. It's raining and I don't feel comfortable going on the roof to check it out. I'd rather just pay someone to take care of it

Paying someone is a perfectly legitimate response to that. I've shoveled snow off of a metal roof and it's no joke. When there is water on a metal roof, they are extremely slippery. If you don't know what you're doing and don't feel comfortable checking it out yourself, there's no shame in calling a pro. It could be a handy way to learn what to look for from someone who knows exactly what they are doing, too.

I'd contact the installers and tell them there's a problem. If it's related to the installation they should come take a look for no charge.
