There can never be a meme about the 9/11 disaster that would ever be funny even by 1%.

People can watch the film, read the books, observe the relics, witness the memorial, read the testimonials, see the historical articles, have known those who died there, and it still will not convey how seriously daunting and horrific it was to those who had actually underwent that. To make any kind of attempt of a joke even for some explanatory purpose seems highly inappropriate, inconsiderate, and ignorant to the catastrophic events that took place during that unfortunate time.

This is less a joke or meme about 9/11 and more on Trump. this guy is literally making our country less safe the more we march on that the chances another 9/11 like event happens goes up significantly. just think of that plane crashing into the helicopter? there's gonna be much much more of this because of this administrations sheer incompetence. I mean you might even say Trump had 2 types of 9/11's with covid and jan 6th... its gonna be a rough four years here. buckle up.

yeah i just can't deal with them any longer. if they ever somehow have a change of heart about their favorite fascist president maybe i'd be more receptive but they are just too far gone at this point. I just don't understand how given everything we've seen and known about him they still follow him.

I am, too. But I learned a long time ago that it is a waste of time and energy to address someone who is not receptive to your message or at least willing to listen to each other with open minds and hearts. That energy and effort is much better spent elsewhere, where it actually might make a difference. While it may make us feel good about what we are attempting to do, it is nothing more than tilting at windmills. Frankly, the reason the Democrats can't win consistently is bc they do not know how to target their audience, which is the ONE aspect of genius that Trump has. In spite of being a very ignorant man, he is a raving genius at targeting his audience with the right message, true or not, to get action from them.

I hope so. I sincerely hope so. But unless he is going to bring the party into the 21st century where they are savvy in social media use,, instead of trying to make better tv ads, it will not be effective. Let's hope they get some millennial and Gen Zers in there to help. Time to upgrade from the rotary phone!

Yeah, I saw this and found it heartening. But, honestly, with the current track record of the party, I will believe it when I see it in action and working. He is certainly right that the Republican are exclusively focused on winning and it has been going on since the 1970s. This was a very long game plan and it has worked.

They also need to find a new "face" for the Democratic Party.
But, I have to keep in mind that I don't belong to either party. I wonder if a movement to build a brand new 3rd party won't actually be a winning strategy rn. There's 4 years to do it if they start now.
