Only when I don't keep my floors mopped at regular intervals. If dirt builds up on your floors from a lot of foot traffic, your floors will be dirty and if you walk barefoot - more obvious if you wear white socks - your feet will get dirty in return. Run a Swiffer Sweeper on your bare floors - not if carpeted as those will need to be cleaned also - and you will see the results on your mop just how dirty your floors are. If you have animals - cat or dog- you will probably also have a lot of dust bunnies from that too.

We don’t wear our outside shoes in the house. Our cleaning ladies also clean the hose/mop the floor every other week.
