In the last century many changes have rolled through society between the sexes. Changes in dynamics, expectations, responsibilities and appearance.

This last one is where the question is about. The last few generations of humanity have seen women's attire change from feminine to masculine and everything in between and men have generally accepted and been welcoming of such things and little has happened in regards to whether men will see women dressed in skirts and dresses or jeans and hoodies are appealing and attractive and worthy of dating and this leads me to see men as more accepting of this change.

However, I do not believe the same can be said for women. WOULD women still find a man dressed in more feminine ways as appealing and attractive and worthy of dating?

Prefer a member of the opposite sex dressed yours and willingly date them

Accept a member of the opposite sex dressed as yours and consider dating them

Accept a member of the opposite sex dressed as yours and be prepared to date them with reservations on whether they rocked the look or not

Tolerate a member of the opposite sex dressed as yours but not want to date them

Dislike a member of the opposite sex dresses as yours and avoid them as much as possible

It's kinda like there are feminine clothing and there is unisex clothing.
Since women can pretty much wear anything a man can, then there is kinda like there is no mens clothing. Only unisex and female clothing.

A man CAN wear female clothing also, but usually not without somehow getting attention for crossdressing.

If I date a girl it would be nice if she wears something feminine but at least somewhat classy.
But more casual unisex clothing as jeans and hoodies would be fine to.
As long as she's comfortable and doesn't look like she would be a prostitute, I'd probably be fine with what she's wearing.

A woman wearing jeans and a hoody doesn’t make them look manly nor does it make them look like men unless they grow a beard and start to walk and sit manly and change their voice to sound manly which requires a whole lot.

A woman in jeans and giddy still looks feminine and attractive in a feminine way.

I mean this is commonsense. There are famine styles of pants.

A man wearing a feminine dress will not look like a woman but will look feminized.

The gladiators wore attire that resembles dresses but yet it’s not a dress and they still look masculine

The men today from regions where they wear skorts are also similar to dresses but yet are not feminine.

So you can sit there all you like pretending that a male wearing a feminine dress will somehow be attractive to a straight woman but you know that’s huge lie.

Men in very small feminine shorts will look GAY not attractive to straight women

Men in very short male shorts look fucking hot to straight women, if they’re fit of course.

That's the point of the question you seem to have grasped. Women dressing in conventional male attire are the norm and they LOOK masculine and are still accepted by men as attractive YET men don't have the reciprocal treatment. WOMEN aren't as accepting as men when it comes to attire of the opposite sex. There's even a term called "boyfriend" clothing as an actual style yet nowhere would it be seen for the reverse

No. Women wearing male pants do not look feminine or attractive.

Women wearing feminine clothes feminine pants, will look feminine and attractive.

If a man wears feminine pants, he again will

It's NOT common sense when it's pointing out a double standard that MEN have accepted women dressing LIKE THEM and still find them attractive but women as you've said two times now, DON'T reciprocate that same sentiment. Trousers/pants have been associated in the west at least as MEN'S clothing since inception and WOMEN have taken to wear them instead of conventional skirts or dresses.
Kilts and sarongs, togas and tsolias and others are all similar in style to skirts and are worn by men in traditional cultures so there IS plenty of examples of COMMON sense cultural dress that doesn't fit conventional Western opinions.
This question is about highlighting the nature of men as being more ACCEPTING of changes women have adopted but how women have not done the same for men (but still impose feminine traits of behaviour on men to be submissive, soft, emotional, etc.)

i remember mall brick and mortar stores started to put female clothing in the men's department. i believe it was termed unisex, but it was pink and glittery. those were the start of the end of times. before the last war on earth.

I’m more traditional and would rather see women wearing feminine clothing and my girlfriend would never accept me wearing feminine clothing
