I've never rolled an egg. Am I the only one?

I've done the egg and spoon race, I've decorated eggs, I've been egg clapping, but as a child I never played the egg rolling game and now I feel traumatised, it explains so much. I don't even know the rules.

Am I the only one who's never rolled an egg?

The first time I Rolled an Egg, it was an eggciting event, I was only 5 at the time. We went to the top of a well known hill, it's an annual event when all the town attends, even the adults roll an egg too. In the USA it's called pace-egging. The term originates from Hebrew meaning Passover. The tradition of rolling an egg dates from the British rule in the early 16th Century.

My mum helped me paint my egg and prepared it for the trauma of the race down hill. The time arrived and I rolled my egg, we all stood at the top of the hill, and judges were at the bottom. It was decided which egg had travelled the farthest without cracking and unbelievably mine was the winner!

This win was start of my life, from a simple egg, my life hatched, and I went from success to success.

I owe my success to pace-egging!

I can understand how you've been traumatised, Sigmund Freud's theory postulated that adult personality is made up of three aspects. Unexpected emotions will never die. They are buried alive and will come forth later in uglier ways.

No, we just ran around with baskets full of plasric grass hunting them. I did however try my hand at decorating a "Ukrainian Easter Egg" years ago. It involved bee's wax, a stylus for applying it, and many colors of dye as I recall. Mine were hot very successful but some are very pretty.
