Does it bother you that your dad wash the dishes?

I am asking this mostly for guys. I don't trust what girls say on this one.

I don't think it is a manly thing. I hate it. I hate when he is washing the dishes like a f***** or something. As if he is wearing a skirt he looks like to me. I can't stand it. He disgusts me, and I just quickly walk past as it twists my inside watching him like a fool washing the dishes.

No, it never bothered me. As corny as this sounds, my father is as masculine as it gets. He doesn't lash out, is direct, resilent, principled, and is very giving. He's a traditional guy in marriage as well for the most part. A redneck, through and through.

I bring this up because he does the dishes as well, since it is a basic responsibility you have in life. It has nothing to do with masculinity. To me, it sounds the real issue is that your father wasn't a masculine role model in your life, so you look down on him doing the dishes purely due to that.

Yeah I think you are right. What role model. He is a needy weak man dominated by my mum for the most part. He has no lead at all in the family what chance does he have to be a role model. He probably needs a role model himself. His primary concern is that he does not fall out of that perceived umbrella of love he thinks he has from mum. I can't stand him. And the dishes is only the tip of the iceberg. I tell you he ought to be ashamed of himself. Problem is his too much of an idiot to realize what a piece of crap he is. He is ignorant and he is better out of my fucken life.

I dont wash my dishes every time I eat no. Nor do I was the pan. I simply cook again in it with the tomato sauce residue or whatever of the day before. You won't tell the difference and I avoid a ton of stupid chores and I save water too.
You're right you're right why the fuck do I still live with my parents. Well it is to avoid paying rent. But I am thinking about how and where to move. Its not natural.

I don't know, perhaps, but I really don't think doing chores is a masculine trait especially if you seem serene while doing it.

No no you don't have to be, its just the pan and the plate that they are often left undone. And since I usually eat pasta I simply pour the food in the the plate which has just some olive oil or tomato sauce from the day before. You won't taste the difference. And the pan you can cook in it with the yesterday's sauce too. The high heat kills any bacteria that there might be. hehehe :)

I don't know maybe you have a point somewhere, but I just can't believe I'm being trashed this much just cause I hate washing the dishes. LOL I will not change my views. I believe in my views. I am adamant. The issue with my dad I might not have communicated it very well. He is the typical hen pecked man, as they say. What is to admire in that? My mum wears the trousers, and I don't need to tell you what he wears. I loath it I hate it I despise him. And mum too for wearing the trousers. Disgusting. He is a weak man, and weak men do not command respect. You can memorize this last thing I just said. Its all natural of me to view him the way I do. I will not excuse his behavior like people do when they defend their family members because they are their family members. I am honest.

Well you can be relieved in part to know that I actually do use silverware! I have a spoon, a fork, and a tea spoon all sterling silver. The knife isn't silver but I always clean that one. lol

😮Well I'll be more vigilant with the plate, because that when doesn't take any heat like the pan does when I'm cooking in it. So its not disinfected.
