Who processes information faster, men or women?

I’m wondering when everybody read this, if most were thinking about the information analyzing and synthesizing while they were reading, or did they read it and then consider what they read after the fact. I can see advantages and disadvantages in both cases, but I never really thought about “how people read things” independent of what their conclusions are,

As for the part about men bs women.., there is no way to answer “men or women” because there’s billions of people in the world, processing is an extremely complex and intricate activity, influenced by numerous physiological and environmental factors ( For example, if one gender was told they are better processing, they will feel more confident in their processing, and that might affect how fast they can process. Maybe it would make them process better maybe they would get lazy.. Inversely, if a gender is told that they’re not so good at processing things, that can impact how they process things. Now, maybe it would make them more determined or maybe it would make them lose confidence. I’m not saying that it would make it “better or worse”. I’m just saying it will be an influence that didn’t exist inherently in their own physiology, in their own immediate natural environment. it was introduced artificially and honestly unnecessarily.) that either enhance or obstruct the process processing, so who knows,

My heart rate is definitely NOT faster on average than men’s heart rates. My heart rate is 45 to 50 beats a minute at rest…that is below the universal average, regardless if it’s men or women.

I’m still waiting to find out ~ from a reliable source~ if the thing about the thumb is true. It sounds unlikely if we begun at the base.

My anecdotal answer is neither, I think it's fairly similar over all with more variation between individuals than genders. (I'm not personally likely to believe that someone is going to be "faster" or "slower" in this regard just based on gender.)

But apparently the science says women to a small degree? Still in the range of more similar than dissimilar as far as I can tell, but apparently noticeable in testing. Not sure how I feel about this tbh. Def want more research and a clearer definition of what exactly we're referring to by "information processing speed" and why it's relevant.

depends on what what sort of information. social relations, colors and things regarding order in the sense of in what order things happen or in what order things belong in a room, is usually quicker with women. shapes, practical/technical information and spatial or navigational understanding it's usually men who are quicker.

There is processing and processing. Women more take things in at a surface level whilst men consider implications. I have had women say what don't you understand about X whilst I am seeing consequences of X.

The "typical" human brain can rapidly recycle amongst 7 pieces of information, male or female. Driving a car is the most demanding effort the average person makes on a daily basis icw with rapid recycle of info. Front, back, left rear, right rear, faster (gas), slower (brakes), steering. Seven pieces of info/control being handled.

It depends on the information. Highly focused and generally it's men. Broad spectrum is women. Think about how men and women describe colours. Men see 7. Women see 356million.

It depends entirely on what KIND of information it is. If it is detailed descriptions of dresses on a red carpet event, women will win. If it is instructions for an engine repair, men will win.
