Yo, can we just get the pronunciation of “nuclear” correct, once and for all? PLEASE😂?

All the talk about Iran, and I’m hearing mispronunciation all over the place. It is KILLING ME, lmfao.

N-U-C-L-E-A-R….”NOO-klee-ur.” I will also accept “NYOO-klee-uh” if you’re a Brit.

There is NO second ‘u’ after the ‘c’, so it no way, no how, and in no world is “NOOK-yu-lur.”

I’m hearing it everywhere, left, right, and center, from politicians, pundits, and civilians alike.

And while I mention pundits….”PUN-ditz” Why is everyone adding a second ‘n’, and saying “PUN-dintz?”😤

Both of these drive me nuts. Thank you in advance for correcting and adjusting yourselves, lmao

That one doesn't bother me as much as some, but people do need to be taught to use words correctly wherever possible.
Funnily enough the way different people pronounce "Iran" right now kinda bothers me.

Yeah, this one goes way back and is deeply intrenched. My HS biology teacher pronounced nucleus as NOO-kyoo-lus. Used to drive me nuts
