My best friend is a former USAF Captain and launch crew commander of a Minuteman Missile site in Montana. In the USAF, missile is NOT pronounced as miss-aisle.
The Brits have 215 nuclear missiles. The United States has 6450. When the Brits pass us, missile can become miss-aisle.
Obviously, "Miss-Aisle" , the idea that Americans use missul shows that they got the English language totally wrong.
Yeah whatevs
Miss aisle. Thanks to American films you'll hear both in the uk.
Envelope and scone cause pronunciation arguments too.

Missile is a latin word not an English one. I pronunce it in the only correct way it can be pronunced https://forvo.com/word/missile,_missilis/ .
there's no “correct” way to pronounce anything really. But sure the way it was originally preferred to be pronounced may be the the best way
I think most Americans say "Miss-ull" (emphasis on the first syllable) while Canadians and Europeans say "Miss-Aisle" (emphasis on the second syllable).
Answer B
I worked in grocery too long. No such thing as a "Miss-Aisle" just an aisle poorly maintained by someone who didn't take pride in their work!
Both ways. For instance, I might say "he shot the Miss-aisles" while in the next sentence say "what does the engine of a miss-ull" look like?
"Miss-aisle" sounds awesome, but I personally call it "Miss-uhle"
A. B sounds weird 🤣🤣🙈 Sorry
You brit :p

Definitely miss-aisle
Both, interchangeably.
Where is Mister Isle in all of this?
I say it in the American English way
Under my breath just to keep people guessing.
Option B.

Sounds just like it looks. Missile.
