I could change the 70s in the drawing for the 80s. Point is, no-one ever found out what we were up to. We could get away with a lot. Hardly any cameras around to record it.

Totally. I grew up in the '60s. I am soooooo glad that there were no digital phone cameras back the day. I did a lot of stupid and illegal shit that, gratefully, hasn't been preserved.
And nothing was digitized. Not police records or medical records. Your auto insurance didn't know about your driving record. What went on between you and your doctor wasn't accessible by medical insurance companies or government.
Yes, life was different. It just seemed like life was not as rushed and money wasn't everything. Even though the sexual revolution was going on, people were not in such a rush to have sex. The music was amazing and muscle cars were still a thing.
the days of pure JOY

Yeah I don't know how people even enjoy themselves at parties these days. You can't even dance with somebody you meet, or kiss them without 3 people standing there recording it and posting it online. I quit drinking all together as well.
I wish I had that, It sounds fun. I am glad however, that I was the last of the generations to experience a childhood without phones, i-pads and social media!
The '80s was an incredibly entertaining and interesting era.
I prefer to appreciate Austin Powers films ✌️ and groovy vibes. That's - all 📱 💻🖥️ I love my modern tech
Glad to have grown up in the `60's and early `80's!
Yes it was freeing and today seems much less community based.
I saw Henry Aaron's then-MLB record 715th homer Apr.8,1974 (I guess at 20, I was a chronological adult), so in that case, DEFINITELY !!!
I was born in 1989. It was a curse.
I was 18 in 1966. Include the 60s. Yes. But The Nam in the 70s was not much fun.
I found the 70's to be mostly silly overall.
My kids marvel at my stories of my feral childhood.
Those were good times.
70s, 80s, and 90s were the best.
