Are you good at hiding your mistakes?

@Nikki1989 No, I have not learned that yet. My instructor says you have to go on and forget you made a mistake. She said she was playing with an orchestra, (she plays the Viola) and the piano player made a mistake, and STOPPED PLAYING, making the entire orchestra start over!😫😫😫😫 I have found that it is very difficult for me to continue on after I make a mistake especially if she and I are playing a duet
@Nikki1989 And of course, my instructor never makes a mistake when we play together.
Yes, just depends on the venue. If it’s a classical recital hall then yes, you are going to get creamed. Playing in a jazz bar? Just improvise!
I’m not sure I want to admit being in either of these situations, but let’s just say, your friends who were in the audience will talk about it like war stories…

I'm good at fixing them... without having to start all over again
I've always had a mild case of OCD and it was more of an issue back when I was a kid, lol... even if I was 5000 words into a school paper and I made ONE mistake... I had the urge to just start it all over again, especially if it was ink
and these urges and fixations were challenging on other things as well, so... either I fix or ignore the little things, I had to become good at that
whenever I make a typo here at G@G, I don't bother to repost and correct the spelling, I just let it be... lol
Omg, no. And I can take a simple mistake and make it absolutely big and horrible. Like I can knock something off the table and then blame it on the dog and then feel guilty about doing that and then it just continues to snowball until I'm sure the only redemption is to hide away in shame and change my name and move to some foreign country where no one knows me and raise llamas or something. Which might be a mistake.
I dont even try. I go. and Figure it out,
I will be the first one to say, Hey, I messed up,
And there's times where I don't even mess up , but I don't like what i've built or it's just not what I envisioned , and I will start all over. Or be able to fix
Or see what I need to do to turn it into something better
I always say, "if you learn by your mistakes then they weren't mistakes, they were lessons.
Yes, if it's necessary because of severity but sometimes I expose intentionally less dramatic ones. Showing small weaknesses sometimes is socially beneficial but really thick corpses are buried deeply in unmarked graves. (metaphoric)
I'm too far from perfect to be able to hide my mistakes. It's easier to own them and try to not make the same ones twice.
Depends on the mistakes, if they are physical (dealing with something I have built), or otherwise.
That's a funny comment. LOL I was the bass player, and when the drummer messed up, I never, ever looked at him. Ha ha.
I don't play music, and I am not good at hiding my mistakes.
I think I am until I bump into the fbi suddenly they are pulling out skeletons from the cupboard some I thought would’ve been disintegrated by now
Nope, they are walking freely out somewhere.
Nope I'm to busy excepting responsibility for my mistakes
Not hiding, I'm better at fixing them
Yes, because i am good to keep silent.
What's in the skip, stays in the skip.
