How many DAYS are there in a DECADE?

As some have pointed out, it depends how many leap years are in a decade. Typically, there are 3, but some decades (ex: 1900-1909, with leap years 1904, 1908, but not 1900) only have 2 leap years.

Doing the math, a decade is 10 years, and a year has 365 days, gives 10*365=3650, then we have to add the extra days of a leap year, 2 or 3 for a decade, giving 3650+2=3652 or 3650+3=3653 days in a decade.

The number of days in a decade depends on how many leap years are included in the decade. If the decade contains two leap days, the decade has 3,652 days. If the decade contains three leap days, the decade contains 3,653 days. And remember that we don't have a leap day in the year that begins the century (such as 1800 or 1900) unless the year is divisible by 400 (we had a leap day in 2000, but we won't have one in 2100.

It depends how many leap years there are. There can be either 3 or 4 within that 10 year period. It can be 368, or 369.

3,652–3,653 days depending on the leap years. It is simple math.

365 x 10. Add one day for every leap year that falls within that decade. Depends when 'your decade' starts, for instance 2000 to 2009 or 2017 to 2026. You may have to add 2 or 3 days.

depends on how the Leap Years break into the years of choice. 2/10 change of 3652, 8/10 chance of 3653, I believe. 50's and into the early 60's, of course, were the best.

@msc545 Some decades do not have 3 leap years, they only have 2. For example, the decade 1900-1909 only has 2 leap years 1904 and 1908, but not 1900, because...

Every year that is exactly divisible by four is a leap year, except for years that are exactly divisible by 100, but these centurial years are leap years if they are exactly divisible by 400. For example, the years 1700, 1800, and 1900 are not leap years, but the years 1600 and 2000 are.
