I’d only do it as a short-term survival move, not a lifestyle. Living at work blurs boundaries, destroys privacy, and can wreck your mental health. No real reset time, no dating life, no feeling of “home.” Better to house-share, crash with family, or downsize before turning your job into your bedroom.

If they let me, yes. At my last job the kiosks had a fridge, microwave, toilet, sink, cabinets, closet, electricity and internet/phone service and were spacious enough that if someone really needed to, they COULD actually live in there. I even half-joked about it with my co-workers. The only thing they didn't have were showers, but the campground showers weren't that far.

But yeah, if a company let me live at the job for no additional cost or very small cost, I would totally do it. Even if I COULD afford it, I would still do it, to have as much money as possible for myself.

If I couldn't afford rent or couldn't crash at a friend's place, and say my employer offered a room. I probably would until I could get back on my feet.
