What would cause someone to just ghost you?

Everyone has different reasonings. Here are some examples other than poor communication and inability to be honest:

• Self-sabotage or protecting one self from being hurt when they don’t think they’re good enough or don’t think the other person may not like them enough to settle for them
• Fear of commitment and pain
• Wanting different things or not thinking they’re fitting the ideal of another person
• No seriousness or good intentions, the attention or validation has end its course.
• Some guys can be crossing boundaries with sexual, rude, projecting their insecurities and lack of accountability with blaming, or passive aggressive comments/behaviors
• Someone may start to feel overbearing of commitment issues or responsibilities too soon
• Going through tough periods in life and unable/unwillingly to communicate it rather it’s fear of hurting someone, it’s better to let it go for now and potentially return at the right time, or just running away type shii
• When a girl already rejected him, no longer interested, or told him some things he’s doing isn’t okay and she don’t like it… but he won’t stop
• Some guys (and girls) it is just easy game of chase and thrill until they feel like they got them and bore, so they moved to the next
• It could also be accidental ghosting when someone is just too busy and forgot (I’m guilty of this many times in the past lol)

Because they've asked you for something that you can't afford but they keep asking again and again!

You're really left with no choice.

[sage2021]

Thank you for the MHO 🙂🧡

[Iron_Man]

Wanting control to gain power very defensive individuals feeling like need the man to obey her. they’re feeling entitled it all comes from the upbringing, the childhood

[Asker]

I try not to associate with people like that and I don't think these people are like that unless they are hiding it 🤔

[Iron_Man]

It just comes out sooner or later, and they demanded to have their asses kissed without saying it but just by their actions

[Asker]

It would just be easier if people weren't so scared to confront on what bothers them but it is what it is I guess 💀

[Iron_Man]

People say things, but the people are probably nervous that they’ll leave them if they challenge them or say something they hold that power

[Asker]

Interesting

[Iron_Man]

Yes it is

[ArrowheadSW]

Sometimes people just have to move on but they don't really have a specific reason why.

[Asker]

Interesting, so people do it for no reason now? 😂

[ArrowheadSW]

Well... I'm recovering from a cold and I'm not thinking straight. LOL... There might be a reason but often it isn't a big deal, or, it is something that doesn't have to do with the person that they are moving on from. They don't know what to say, so the action they take is to "ghost". One example was a lady who I was dating when I was 38. It was going well and in fact my best friend was telling me that he wanted to be best man in my wedding to her... LOL (Even though it hadn't gone to the point of a marriage proposal yet.) Next thing I know, I am ghosted. Turns out she reconciled with an ex and she didn't know what to say to me, so her action was to ghost me.

Asking the same question that we had a discussion about the day before

Saying something stupid or sexual during a meaningful conversation

Telling them to do stuff off the bat (like telling them they should call you in the morning everyday or telling them to smile more )

Boasting about something you got away with.

If you're physically with her: leaving her behind
or not being aware that she's there (like hogging up all the space or not letting know where you're going, just expect her to follow after you )

[Asker]

Interesting, didn't find my answers but interesting indeed lol

[Vevv123]

Many reasons. They could’ve started talking to someone else, lost interest but didn’t know how to say it, or sensed that the other person wanted something different or vice versa. Sometimes people are genuinely just busy too. I’m one of those people who forgets to message my own friends back sometimes 😂 so I don’t think ghosting always has some deep meaning behind it.

[Asker]

Getting back to someone at some point isn't the same as ghosting 😂

[Vevv123]

True… maybe they should create a different word for ghosting except where you eventually get back to replying to someone 😌

[Asker]

I don't think that exists because ghosting is never replying again lol

[MemeSupreme]

i haven't been on those apps in years but i just trolled people on there lol

sometimes they didn’t know how to respond to that

[Asker]

What apps? Instagram? Lol

[MemeSupreme]

oh i thought i typed it down, but i meant dating apps

[Asker]

Oh I wasn't talking about dating apps but fair enough 😂

[DonaldDarko]

Could be lots of reasons. I don't get wrapped up in what other people do.

[midnightmoon05]

Who ghost you?

[Asker]

I actually get ghosted pretty often, I think it has to do with replying quickly, I think people confuse my habit of replying fast cause I don't like to postpone a singular conversation for 3 days, this is my theory tho lol

[MrChinaski]

They are arseholes.

[Asker]

I must be guilty lol

[MrChinaski]

Sorry.

[AngryCarl3]

Either you made them feel threatened or creeped out, or they just lost interest.

[Asker]

I don't really do it on purpose tho, nor do I try to come out as a dick, I just like using my brain I guess 🤔

[Sickworld]

You have to answer the phone

[Asker]
