When production scales up Elon is hoping to be able to sell the Optimus for as low as $20,000. Financing might be available but that's not a sure thing yet.

The Optimus sports a 2.3 KW battery. Under light conditions the Optimus will work for about 8 hours. With heavy lifting and continuous walking that drops to 3 to 5 hours. But when the robot craps out it heads back to its charging station and juices back up. The robot can fully juice in about 2 hours.

While you're out working or doing whatever you do, your Optimus could be at home taking care of all the boring crap.

(For the woke liberals out there... It's not yet been announced with the Optimus' pronouns are.)

I've actually heard that being discussed. Your robot works around the house all day long then at night when you go to sleep, you send Mr Optimus off to his night job. In the morning he comes home and hands you the cash. 😂
