Not much at all. I think it helped me that they don't have bitey or stingy parts like a scorpion to mess you up. I might die but I could die getting the physics of them.

My scary stuff was always like a danger I couldn't understand so well. Mind you, magical undead skeletons might seem to fit in that category, but it always seemed like I could get a long weapon and smash them to bits again. But I don't understand how that snake works and it catches me more by surprise since it's small, or like jellyfish under the sea, things like that (actually I think jellyfish are scarier than sharks).

Not really. I've always thought they were kinda cool looking. Kinda interesting how humans just without skin and muscles can look so cool.
