What is the weirdest or most extreme thing you have ever done in order to gain someone’s favor?

Any context, it could be for family, love, friendship, skool, work, neighbors, anything.
After all, we’re social animals. Even the wannabe hard*sses who claim that they don’t care what anyone thinks. 😂😂😂
We’re often trying to get into and stay in someone else’s good graces. Some people take advantage of that compulsion in us. I’ve never had to bury a body or cover up a crime, but i have a couple of people for whom i would… albeit with some hesitation.
What is the weirdest or most extreme thing you have ever done to garner someone’s favor?

I had this deep crush on an extremely pretty girl fresh out of high school and I was 25 to her 18. We worked at the same place and we talked everyday. She had been in gymnastics and had the thighs to prove it although she was a little conceded and enjoyed having dudes at her Beck and call. Not I, she didn't try but one night as I was going out of a bar near work she and a female bartender were coming across the parking lot to patron this bar. I was pretty drunk and started chatting with her and Jodi, the bartender, who was a smoke stack herself and a much, much nicer person.

Well after parting I yelled at the girl to watch this and I went toward my car and stepped up on the bumper and turned a back flip. Executed perfectly, although it was my first attempt.

Being drunk at the time I just played it off like it was no big deal. It still scares me to this day thinking of my neck getting broken. I've never tried it again. That was September 87.

The next day she was like, hands on her hips and "I thought I was bad!"
I said to her, what. Then it struck me. I didn't even remember it. That's when I became nauseous.

I played Russian roulette exactly once with a.38 snub and a single round. Lowest possible odds, but still pretty self destructive in hindsight.

Yeah, my number two nephew played it twice. Never again will he play.
Then, years later, his son had to play and survived. He went once.

I dive off a bridge to impress a girl. I did not realize how shallow it got when the tide went out. I almost broke my neck.

I used to work with a guy who dove off a dock during low tide. He did break his neck, but he was too drunk to notice. He passed out and woke up in excruciating pain the next day. Fortunately the break didn’t paralyze him. I thought he was BS’ing because, prior to hearing that story, i thought all neck breaks were paralyzing.
